Day 1 - Tahiti

Depart for French Polynesia via Paris and Los Angeles.

Day 2 - Papeete

On arrival you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel for a 3 night stay.

Day 3 & 4 - Papeete

Papeete, the vibrant capital of Tahiti, is the lively gateway to French Polynesia. Bustling markets, colorful street art, and fragrant tropical gardens set the tone for island life. Stroll the waterfront promenade or explore local culture before setting sail into the heart of the Pacific.

Day 5 - Paul Gauguin Marquesas, Tuamotu and Society Islands Cruise

Transfer to the port for an early evening departure aboard the Paul Gauguin.

Day 6 - Fakarava, Tuamotu Islands

A designated UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, Fakarava is a pristine paradise where nature takes centre stage. This breathtaking atoll, with its vivid turquoise lagoon and unspoiled white-sand beaches, offers a true escape. Its tranquil beauty is matched by remarkable biodiversity, from rare birds to unique marine life.

Day 7 - At Sea

Enjoy a relaxing day at sea with plenty to explore on board. Unwind at the spa, keep active in the fitness centre, or soak up the sun by the pool. Enjoy engaging talks, boutique shopping, and ocean views—perhaps even spotting marine life from the upper deck.

Day 8 - Omoa, Fatu Hiva Island

Your journey brings you to Omoa, a remote and tranquil fishing village tucked into a stunning bay on Fatu Hiva. Surrounded by lush rainforest, explore sacred ancient sites and hidden burial caves. Visit the Maison Grelet museum, admire traditional wooden carvings, and watch local artisans craft tapa and fragrant umu hei.

Day 9 - Hanavave, Hiva Oa Island

Dramatic and untamed, the Marquesas offer a breathtaking contrast to the softer landscapes of Polynesia. Towering cliffs, lush valleys and cascading waterfalls define this remote archipelago. On Fatu Hiva, explore the stunning Hanavave Bay. Enjoy warm village hospitality, traditional music, tapa-making, and fresh island citrus fruits.

Day 10 - Atuona. Hiva Oa Island

Surrounded by the clear waters of the Pacific, the remote Marquesas Islands are a source of inspiration and beauty. On Hiva Oa, discover dramatic peaks, black sand beaches, and the village of Atuona. Visit the graves of Jacques Brel and Paul Gauguin, and explore the island’s artistic heritage at a cultural centre dedicated to the famed painter.

Day 11 - Hapatoni, Tahuata Island

Discover the charm of Hapatoni, a peaceful village on Tahuata—the smallest inhabited island in the Marquesas. Wander along an ancient stone path to the village cathedral, then explore a local craft centre showcasing exquisite bone and wood carvings. Surrounded by lush green valleys, you’ll be warmly welcomed with traditional song and dance—a true celebration of Marquesan culture.

Day 12 - Taiohae, Nuku Hiva Island

Explore scenic trails, enjoy views from Mount Muake, and discover ancient culture at Piki Vehine. Don’t miss the stone-built Notre Dame des Marquises cathedral—crafted from rocks of all six inhabited Marquesan islands. Nuku Hiva is a land of heritage, beauty, and island spirit.

Day 13 - At Sea

Day 14 - Rangiroa, Tuamotu Islands

Rangiroa, a hidden gem in the Tuamotu Archipelago, lives up to its name—“vast sky”—with a massive lagoon and blush-pink beaches. The largest atoll in French Polynesia, it offers top-tier snorkeling, diving, and glass-bottom boat tours. Once praised by Jacques Cousteau, its marine life is unforgettable, and its black pearls are world-renowned.

Day 15 - Huahine, Society Islands

Huahine, one of French Polynesia’s hidden gems, offers lush landscapes, quiet coves, and a sense of ancient mystery. Explore Grande and Petite Huahine to discover sacred sites, charming villages, and the welcoming town of Fare for a taste of traditional island life.

Day 16 - Motu Mahana, Taha’a Island

Step onto the soft sands of Motu Mahana, a private islet in the Taha’a lagoon, and enjoy an authentic Polynesian barbecue in paradise. Surrounded by turquoise waters and vibrant marine life, this idyllic escape offers views of lush Taha’a—renowned for its black pearls and fragrant vanilla plantations.

Day 17 & 18 - Bora Bora, Society Islands

Day 20 - Moorea Island

Part of the Windward Islands, just west of Tahiti, Mo'orea captivates with its stunning beaches, turquoise lagoon, and lush, fragrant flora. Discover unforgettable views from the Mo'orea Belvedere, where Mount Rotui rises majestically between the dramatic valleys of Opunohu and Cook’s Bay—truly a natural masterpiece.

Day 21 - Papeete

On arrival in Papeete, disembark and transfer to your hotel for one final night in French Polynesia.

Day 22 - Departure

Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
